Edwin Hayward, of Memorable Domains gives a great interview on OzDomainer explaining his take on the domain business, from the mid 90s, through to today. The big message to take from the interview is FOCUS.
Buying bucket loads of domains, and parking them, or even setting up mini-sites over them is not the way Edwin sees as the best way forward. Again, the call to develop domains properly, and focus on them one at a time, continues to gain credence.
It’s likely that this interview will be listened to by some of the biggest domainers across the world, and it gives the useful (if you’re selling!) message that the UK namespace is currently under-priced, and not mined out to the extent of .com and the other TLDs. It will be interesting to see what effect, if any, there is on UK prices.
An interview all domainers must listen to
